A micro enterprise has investment up to Rs. 1 crore and turnover up to Rs. 5 crore; small up to Rs. 10 crore and Rs. 50 crore; and medium up to Rs. 50 crore and Rs. 250 crore respectively.
Registered MSMEs get collateral-free loans under priority sector lending, interest and subsidy support, and legal protection against buyers who delay payments beyond 45 days.
GST is required only if your business is otherwise liable to register under GST. If GST does not apply to you, you can still complete Udyam registration.
